Wildwood's Honky Tonk Saloon is scheduled to open May 10.
The bar takes the place of a former storage area for aging arcade equipment at the Boardwalk Mall on a busy strip near major amusement piers and shops. The opening planned for May 10 has generated plenty of buzz on its social media sites, owner Sean Doughtery told NJ Advance Media.We like it, we love it, we want some more of it 🤠 Just a little walk through before our BIG announcement on Monday!...the first live performance will kick off at 7 p.m.
Dougherty and his investors recently purchased the 32,000-square-foot Boardwalk Mall building, which also includes retail shops“Nashville, when you go down there, it just opens your eyes up to what a bar-restaurant with music can really do to a space,” Doughtery said.
