Amber Alert issued after man takes 1-year-old girl from her mother in Cleveland, police say

Cleveland police are searching for 1-year-old Marleah Miles, issuing an Amber Alert Thursday night. CLEVELAND, Ohio — Police issued an Amber Alert on Thursday night after a man reportedly took a 1-year-old girl from her mother and threatened to harm the child.

Police spokesman Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz says Lamar Miles, 34, drove off in an unknown direction at about 7 p.m. Thursday after taking the child, Marleah Miles, from the area of East 105th Street and Superior Avenue in the Glenville neighborhood.Lamar Miles is driving a dark blue Kia Sportage, according to police. He is 6 feet tall, 300 pounds, and was wearing jogging pants.

Marleah is about 3 feet tall, 25 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a purple coat, gray T-shirt, blue jeans and purple Adidas shoes.If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.
