Meet the Plano man keeping Blockbuster alive

Rick Quinones receives his copy of "Titanic" from Blockbuster employee Greg Hoeft at midnight on Sept 1, 1998. The Blockbuster at 3501 McKinney Ave. stayed open until 2:00 a.m. for people that couldn't wait another day for a copy of "Titanic."
As the years went by, Blockbuster made strides to try to keep up with technological trends. This included offering more games, as pictured in this photograph, published Nov. 25, 2001.
