‘9-1-1’ crew member Rico Priem died on May 11 after he was involved in a car accident
Rico Priem, a 9-1-1 crew member who died in a car accident last month, was killed by a heart attack.
The autopsy report determined that Priem died of a “sudden cardiac dysfunction,” and that there were “no fatal traumatic injuries.”Us Weekly has reached out to the Examiner’s office for further comment. Priem was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity was released by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. His death was also confirmed by IATSE.“We are fully committed to the safety and the well-being of all our members and express our heartfelt condolences to the member’s family,” the statement read. “Workers have a reasonable expectation that they can get to work and come home safely. No one should be put in unsafe circumstances while trying to earn a living.
Priem’s fellow crew member, Nina Moskol, who also works as a grip on 9-1-1, also paid tribute to her friend.
