Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Jerry Seinfeld has teased that a Seinfeld reunion is on the way, and there are a few ways that a potential Seinfeld reboot could rectify the mistakes of the show’s notorious series finale.
Maybe Jerry has moved into a new apartment and Elaine has gotten married and George has settled into a new career. Out of all the main characters, Kramer is the only one who would be the same person today as he was 25 years ago. A Seinfeld reboot can just jump past the lingering plot threads from the finale and essentially style itself as a new show with a new equilibrium. A new version of Seinfeld would be about a different stage of life.
4 Don't Mention The Seinfeld Characters' Prison Sentence By far the most polarizing aspect of the Seinfeld finale is that the characters ended up in prison. A potential Seinfeld revival doesn’t need to mention their jail time at all. If the reboot picks up long after the quartet has been released and they’ve moved on with their lives, then there’s no point in dwelling on the past and discussing the distant memories of a prison sentence.
