The funky, falcon-doored Model X is due for some updates. Here’s what we know so far.

As with the updated Model S, adoption of the new structural battery pack would benefit interior packaging and space, expanding the appeal of the Model X as a swift, silent people mover. Every Model X will once again be all-wheel drive, as two-motor mainstream and tri-motor high-performance Plaid models are expected to continue.As it does now, the updated Model X should command a starting price right around $100,000.
