Police say a woman was cut free from her car following a collision involving five vehicles, one of them a Muller lorry, this morning. The incident took place around 9.40am on Tuesday, October 10, in Brinsley.
Emergency services were called to the A608 Mansfield Road where the lorry driver was found to be in shock but unharmed, and a woman was trapped in her car. She was later cut free by firefighters and treated at the scene. A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Emergency services were called to the A608 Mansfield Road at Brinsley following a road traffic collision at approximately 9.40am today . Officers arrived and found a lorry in a ditch after crashing into a garden following a collision involving five vehicles. The lorry driver was in shock but otherwise unharmed.
“A woman trapped in a Ford Kuga was cut free by firefighters. She sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene. No other injuries have been reported. Recovery of the vehicles is now underway.”
