Seems like an unfortunate semantic coincidence. “Clean eating” is a term like paleo/vegan/low carb, and has nothing to do with the cuisine of certain cultures. Simulating the sweet, starchy, crispy joys of Chinese food would be very desirable to ppl who follow clean-eating.
