The Norwegian series La Palma follows a family's tropical Christmas vacation that turns into a disaster when a volcano erupts. The show was filmed on the real island of La Palma off the coast of Spain, known for its beautiful beaches and active Cumbre Vieja volcano. While the volcano didn't erupt during filming, it did erupt in late 2021, causing significant damage and prompting evacuations. The show also utilized the Labranda Isla Bonita Hotel in Tenerife for some interior scenes.

The four-part Norwegian series is just as gripping as it is breathtaking. If you haven't already binged it all in one sitting, the show follows a family who head to the Canary Islands for a tropical Christmas.

The luxurious resort has everything you'd expect from a Canary Islands hot spot — bars, pools, entertainment, terraces, and, of course, stunning views. H10 Taburiente Playa, La Palma If you fell in love with the outside of the beautiful resort then you may want to check out H10 Taburiente Playa. This hotel served as the exterior of the resort.
