Dundee United expect to announce Kristijan Trapanovski as their fifth signing of the summer this week. United have agreed a two year deal with an option of another 12 months on the club’s side to sign the Macedonian from FC Shkupi. A work permit has been agreed and the 24-year-old is now waiting for the final documentation to be issued so he can travel to Dundee to finalise his move.
Goodwin said: “We hope to have Trapanovski in Dundee in the early part of the week as well and hopefully he will play a part in our friendly next week.” United have already signed Will Ferry, Dave Richards, Vicko Sevelj and Ryan Strain. Australian international Strain won’t join up with United until they head to England for their training camp next week. He has been away with the Socceroos and has been given additional time off.
