New constituency boundaries and candidates in Preston, Chorley and South Ribble for the 2024 general electionHeavy showers and thunderstorms may lead to disruption to travel in Preston today, according to a warning from the Met Office.
A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms is in place from 11am until 9pm today with the Met Office warning of driving conditions being affected by standing water, possible damage to buildings, delays to public transport and some flooding.A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Showers developing later on Tuesday morning, becoming heavy with some thunderstorms through the afternoon and early evening.
