To mark British Sandwich Week, the supermarket giant has introduced eight new main dishes to its meal deal offering
Tesco meal deals, a lunchtime favourite for countless office workers, have just undergone a tasty transformation.
Last year, the price of the beloved combo, which includes a main, a snack, and a drink, went up from £3 to £3.90, or a slightly more palatable £3.40 with a Clubcard, but that hasn't dampened its popularity. Starting today , Tesco's meal deal selection is getting a mouth-watering makeover in all UK stores.
In celebration of British Sandwich Week, the retail behemoth is rolling out eight scrumptious new mains as part of its meal deal. The line-up features a Summer Edition Smokehouse Pulled Pork and barbecue Bean Sub, boasting succulent pulled pork with smoky barbecue beans and spicy chipotle mayo nestled in a fluffy white roll.
Other fresh additions include a Summer Edition Mango, Lime and Chilli Wrap, a Summer Edition Chinese Inspired Char Siu Wrap, and a fiery Summer Edition Jamaican Style Jerk Chicken Sandwich. For those opting for the "Premium" meal deal at £5.50, or £5 with a Clubcard, there's the Tesco Finest Summer Edition Argentinian Chimichurri Sandwich, complete with chilli and herb bread, and the exotic Tesco Finest Summer Edition Indian Style Miso Masala Chicken Wrap.
These delectable new options are hitting Tesco shelves today as "limited editions", so grab them while you can!
