SCHOOL teacher Rebecca Joynes arrived arm-in-arm with her dad at Manchester Crown Court this morning.
The 30-year-old has previously been seen attending court with a pink baby bonnet tucked into her trouser waistband.
The court heard on Friday how the teacher had a baby with one of the pupils, Boy B, after beginning a relationship when he was aged 15, jurors heard. When he turned 16 this turned into a sexual relationship, with the pair allegedly sleeping together around 30 times after she took his virginity.Joynes is also accused of two counts of sexual activity with Boy A, who was 15 when she first "groomed" him, the court heard on Thursday.
Boy A claimed Joynes had laughed and told him to "shut up" when he mentioned his age to her, the court heard.investigation was launched in October 2021 and Joynes was subsequently arrested and bailed on the condition she did not contact any child under 18. Joynes denies two counts of sexual activity with Boy A, two counts of sexual activity with Boy B and two counts of sexual activity with Boy B while being a person in a position of trust.
