Jody Cundy also spoke of 'mistakes' with pro partner Jowita Przystal on an episode of Strictly It Takes Two
A Strictly Come Dancing pair may be forced to pull out of the popular BBC show, it has emerged. Paralympian cyclist Jody Cundy made the admission to Janette Manrara on Strictly It Takes Two on Thursday, October 5.
He spoke about how the part of his body where the stump of his leg meets his prosthetic has become infected and he ended up in hospital. Jody said: ‘It’s a week of highs and lows. The first two days, absolutely flown by. At the end of day two we had done the full routine a number of times from start to finish.
"By the time morning came round, I couldn't actually get my leg on. So that was Wednesday's training out. I tried again this morning, not been able to get my leg on. So the hope is tomorrow the swelling has gone down a little bit more and we're in a situation where I can do a little bit of practice and pick up where we left on Tuesday."
