Ruben Amorim is poised to become the next Manchester United manager - yet fans might not recognise him from a resurfaced video clip.
Amorim presents a different image in the footage compared to his current appearance, his slim build and shaved head contrasting sharply with the messy hair and beard combination United fans will become accustomed to seeing in the Old Trafford dugout. While he had a successful stint with Benfica, winning three Primeira Liga titles, Amorim's international career didn't quite reach the same level.
He may not have left his imprint on the world's stage, but Amorim still made the Portuguese squad for the subsequent World Cup held in Brazil. Although Amorim never joined Ronaldo at club level, its said that Ronaldo has affectionately crowned the 39-year-old 'the poet'.
