Films that could have been! Take a look at the never released Batgirl, Nicolas Cage as Superman in the cancelled 'Superman Lives', and Kevin Spacey as John Paul Getty who ended up being replaced by Christopher Plummer.
Nicolas Cage is opening up about the cameo he filmed for this summer's The Flash, how it was presented in the final film, and his thoughts on the integration of AI into cinema.
The actor, known for films including Leaving Las Vegas, Face/Off and The Rock said that filmmakers 'put a lot of time into building the suit' for the iconic character, and lauded Muschietti as 'a terrific director' and 'great guy.' The finished product saw the Man of Steel not standing, as Cage had done in filming, but rather doing battle with an enormous spider, which was a premise Superman Lives producer Jon Peters had been keen to do in the scuttled 90s film.
'I literally went to shoot a scene for maybe an hour in the suit, looking at the destruction of a universe and trying to convey the feelings of loss and sadness and terror in my eyes. That's all I did.'
