Screen legend Mitzi Gaynor has died aged 93.
The actress, singer and dancer, known for her iconic turns in South Pacific and There's no Business Like Show Business passed from natural causes on Thursday, October 17, her team announced in a statement.
'Off stage, she was a vibrant and extraordinary woman, a caring and loyal friend, and a warm, gracious, very funny and altogether glorious human being. 'Your love, support and appreciation meant so very much to her and was a sustaining gift in her life. She often noted that her audiences were ‘the sunshine of my life.’
She then starred in the musical biopic Golden Girl , playing Lotta Crabtree and musical Bloodhounds of Broadway .
