The Prime Minister sends a message of support to Holly Willoughby and her family amid 'murder-kidnap' plot. Appearing on This Morning, Rishi Sunak says he is 'very sorry' to hear about what is going on with the ITV star.
Gavin Plumb, 36, is accused of putting together a 'kidnap and restraint' kit at his home and arranging for an American assassin to snatch the 42-year-old TV star.
Plumb, from Harlow, Essex, pleaded not guilty to three criminal charges when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court today. Wearing a dirty grey t-shirt and holding his hand over his mouth, the suspect sat impassively in the dock as he listened to court proceedings.Gavin Plumb stands accused of plotting to kidnap and murder TV presenter Holly WilloughbyAccording to the charges, Plumb allegedly 'solicited, encouraged, persuaded, endeavoured to persuade, or proposed' to murder the former This Morning star.The charge sheet also says he encouraged a US-based man to travel to the UK.
The mother-of-three is currently under police guard at her London home where she lives with her husband Daniel Baldwin, 49, and their three children. Ms Willoughby was pulled from presenting the ITV show on Thursday, October 5, just moments before going on air after police informed bosses bosses about the alleged plot.The date of June 24 was set for the trial.
