Despite it being a bad weekend for Man City in the Premier League title race, Liverpool did suffer a key injury with Trent Alexander-Arnold forced off
Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold is facing a race to be fit for Manchester City's visit to Anfield on December 1, with a first suggestion of a timeline emerging for the full-back's newly acquired injury.
The Reds capitalised by beating Brighton and Aston Villa at Anfield whilst Man City's consecutive losses occurred, though the latter fixture on Saturday brought with it trouble. Midway through the first half Alexander-Arnold was removed from the action, indicating to head coach Arne Slot that his right hamstring was the problem before heading straight down the tunnel.
