Manchester City winger Savinho was taken off with a serious-looking injury in Wednesday's League Cup tie vs Tottenham Hotspur
Manchester City are sweating over the fitness of Savinho, who had to be taken off a stretcher 63 minutes into Wednesday's League Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
Savinho picked up the issue after trying to cross the ball just before the hour mark, seemingly putting weight on his right ankle when going to ground. The Brazilian was down for a number of minutes before the stretcher was called for. Savinho, 20, has missed one previous match this season through injury, sitting out the 3-1 win at West Ham in August with a knee issue. Pep Guardiola faces a potential selection headache for the weekend's trip to Bournemouth with several wingers doubts for the fixture.
