Liverpool player ratings from Ian Doyle after the 3-1 win against West Ham United in the Premier League
Liverpool player ratings from Ian Doyle are in - with some strong scores following the 3-1 win over West Ham United at Anfield.
It was level at the break, Jarrod Bowen having levelled with an excellent diving header after Mohamed Salah's emphatic penalty gave the Reds an early lead. There were no immediate changes from Jurgen Klopp after the first half, with big chances for Darwin Nunez and another for Bowen being squandered. The Uruguay international made no mistake on 60 minutes, however, finishing neatly with his right after a ball over the top from Alexis Mac Allister.
Diogo Jota, on as a substitute, made sure of victory late on with a neat poach via a Virgil van Dijk knockdown from Andy Robertson's corner.Superb save kept out Soucek header early on and no chance of reaching the equaliser. Claimed Bowen effort second half.Accepted the challenge of playing as an inverted right-back and regularly assisted the attack during a busy showing. Dutiful defensively also. Impressive.
