Leicester City will be back in the Premier League next season after winning the Championship.
However, in footage posted on social media, Vardy asked two of his teammates to join him before lifting the trophy.Speaking during Leicester’s title celebrations, midfielder Harry Winks said: “It’s surreal to be honest. I’ve never experienced anything like this, so I’m trying to soak up as much of it as possible. Like we said before the game, we don’t know when these moments come, so it’s important to enjoy them.
“When we’re in the Premier League next year, nobody’s going to remember the fact that we didn’t win our last game. Everyone will remember that we’re champions and that we’re up. That’s the most important thing.” Vardy’s future with the club will now be the talk of the end, when asked about his plans, the 37-year-old said: “The season has gone quickly but it’s a graft! Not many days off, I’ll tell you that for nothing! The lads have given it their all. As you’ve seen us play, that’s like it is in training. It’s full throttle.
“Listen, I’m not ready to hang the boots up yet. The legs feel fine and I feel as fit as I ever have so we’ll just see what happens.
