Nothing does the trick quite like frozen ice lollies to fight against temperatures as high as 30C in some areas this week. One nostalgic ice lollies that many may remember fondly are the rocket-shaped variety.
Not wanting to be too negative about these lollies, I could definitely tell that there were meant to be three different flavour layers - I was was just left wanting a bit more punch from the strawberry, orange and pineapple.Matching the price and quantity of Tesco, Asda's offering to this line-up was very middle of the road. I didn't find myself unsatisfied by the lolly but it wasn't the out of this world cosmic experience the box depicts.
As the most expensive on the list - almost double what the cheapest options were - its not the most budget option to top up for freezers this summer.Whilst it is odd seeing Aldi so high on the price, the supermarket have come through strong and given us the best value for our money, offering the biggest pack on the market with 10 included.
