In March, it identified 76 Frankie & Benny's restaurants in what it now considers to be unfavourable locations and it has now highlighted 42 more sites, which are mainly Chiquitos.It was caused by it writing down the value of restaurant sites seen as being"structurally unattractive". A spokesman told the BBC that as each restaurant's lease came up for renewal, its future would be considered.The spokesman added that those sites identified as structurally unattractive were"mostly situated in retail sites, leisure parks and next to cinemas, and footfall is massively declining in those areas".
I'm surprised about F&B's - they've been really good since they changed the menu and branding.

If they're anything like Frankie & Benny's it will be the sub-Wetherspoon quality at Prezzo prices that put people off.

The prices of ALL this restaurants menus are way overpriced and people will not pay for it, yet restaurants think they can continue to charge these prices. I'm sorry but they have noone to blame but themselves. Staff need to jump ship before being pushed

Under threat because they and F&B sell awful food at high prices in my view. Had to walk out of Chiquito once to go to Burger King (yuk) due their inability to serve me edible food! First they forgot mine then they brought it raw st which point I walked out - an hour wasted!
