The event was full of surprises and elements that threw the entire player community off guard and brought in around 5 million players to Fortnite to experience the one-off rare event.
The live event began with five Rift Beacons being activated near Restored Reels and the countdown timer. As soon as the beacons were activated, they emitted a red light until the timer ran zero, towards the top of the chimney tower at Doom’s Castle. Before that, a two minute cinematic sequence showed Doom walking over characters and obliterating them, before Hope punches him in the face using Captain America’s shield. Once he retreats back, he spawns on the island like a giant.Chapter 2 and had insane amounts of health. Players were required to shoot at him using whatever weapons they had to bring his health down to zero.
