With Erling Haaland struggling in front of goal against Arsenal, Alan Pardew believes the City striker looks detached from games and lacks emotion.
Former Premier League manager Alan Pardew believes Erling Haaland looked 'unemotional' at times against Arsenal as he struggled to get involved in the game.A big part of Mikel Arteta's side's victory came down to the excellent defensive work of William Saliba and Gabriel, with them keeping Man City's star striker Haaland and his fellow attackers quiet.
"Funnily enough, right at the end he gets involved with someone on the sidelines as he's walking off the pitch," he told talkSPORT. "Actually on the pitch, he looked unemotional at times, you know, like he wasn't in the game." Haaland's struggle to create chances on Sunday is something Pardew says he saw plenty of times with his own strikers throughout his managerial career, as well as how that impacted them mentally.Elle Brooke posts tearful video message after Man City's defeat to ArsenalCredit: Getty
