Erik ten Hag has a decision to make with Jadon Sancho and that decision looks like an easier one to make with each passing day.
Since Erik ten Hag made a point of criticising the winger's performances in training and Sancho took the opportunity to slam the manager on social media, declaring himself a 'scapegoat', the United man has done little to garner much sympathy. Training away from the first team, the 23-year-old wisely chose to delete his controversial post yet has decided not to apologise for it.
However, MEN Sport reported on Wednesday evening that Sancho is digging his heels into the ground on the issue. His friends at the club are pleading to reason with him but the forward has made his mind up. Back in April, he highlighted exactly what will happen if his standards were not met. "When they can’t get it, then they are in the wrong place," Ten Hag said after an underwhelming defeat by Newcastle United.
