Emmerdale's Belle Dingle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, is left reeling as she discovers her abusive ex-husband Tom King, portrayed by James Chase, has moved on to his next victim, Amelia Spencer . Belle is left speechless when she learns that Tom and Amelia have been dating for several weeks.
In one scenario, Belle was finally able to move on from the abuse she suffered, but Amelia was still firmly under Tom's grasp as her daughter Esther grew into a schoolgirl, unaware of the torment her mother was going through. Amelia brushed off Belle's warnings, while Tom lingered ominously, but in other scenes, Belle and Suzy found an inconsolable Kerry Wyatt outside the home as paramedics carried out the young mother in a body bag, reminding viewers that Tom's behaviour still has a chance of turning deadly.
