All your (OK, your kids') favourite characters are coming to Lancashire this summer!

East Lancashire Railway, which has a line at Ramsbottom station, has planned events a selection of adventure filled days out including family favourites such as Day Out With Thomas, Hey Duggee Family Fun Day, a wacky trip to Wonderland as well as a Classic Car Show.Here are all the activities set to take place over July, August and September.

Day Out With Thomas will take place on August 5 and 6 before returning later on September 30 and October 1. Complete your perfect day out with a trip through the Irwell Valley on a real heritage steam train- included in the price of the railway ticket. This two-hour wonderland experience includes a steam train ride from Bury to Rawtenstall where you’ll meet colourful characters and take part in themed activities with plenty of photo opportunities!The Dino Adventure Join a team of intrepid explorers on an adventure of Jurassic proportions as you get up close and personal with baby dinosaurs.
