Public funds to farms breeding bulls keeping ‘cruel practice’ of bullfighting alive, say animal rights campaigners

Bullfighting across Europe is being kept alive by millions of euros paid out by the EU, claim campaigners, despite attempts by MEPs to ban the subsidies.

When this is going to be illegal?

We should really put a stop to these, those bulls are at least as innocent as the Ukrainians, is it just because watching bullfighting is your past time that you ignored their suffering?

Bullfighting is a simbol of the Spanish right. Despite the decreasing interest in this form of 'art' (yes, they call this art) and arenas half empty, it keeps getting subsidies from both local government and EU. The EU needs to get its act together and StopBullfighting

Ban this cruelty.

Horrible “sport”.

And sheep farms that are not remotely profitable nor environmentally sound. But they look pretty and keep the grass down.
