Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has been photographed for the first time looking glum, after his celebrity partner Amanda Abbington quit the show.
A BBC spokesperson said: "Amanda Abbington is unable to continue in Strictly Come Dancing and has decided to withdraw from the competition. The show wishes her all the best for the future." It comes as a TV insider claimed that Amanda found working with him 'difficult' as she struggled to cope with his training style.
"She was with a partner that had a certain training style that she couldn't cope with. Whether that came to a head or whether there's something else going on, I don't know."
