Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars have all been banned by an Indonesian province for being ‘pornographic’.
Seventeen western pop songs have been singled out among 85 worldwide tracks for featuring lyrics that the West Java’s Indonesian Broadcasting Commission called ‘obscene’. ‘In this case, what is banned is not the songs, but the lyrics of the songs that contain pornography, pornographic association, and obscenity,’Ed’s Shape Of You, Love Me Harder by Ariana, and Versace On The Floor and That’s What I Like by Bruno have all been targeted, as well as Rihanna’s Wild Thoughts, The Killers’ Mr Brightside and the Zayn Malik song Dusk Till Dawn.
