A Hertfordshire council is looking at where it can build homes in areas which cause moderate to high green belt harm.
This 25.5-hectare site between Toms Lane and the M25 could feature new walking and cycling routes.
The analysis notes some areas are at risk of surface water flooding, so developers must look at ways to “address” this. A council report notes: “The site is located on the edge of Rickmansworth town centre and is considered to be in a sustainable location.It adds: “The site will be required to provide a primary school in line with Hertfordshire County Council’s education requirements.”
