After getting a penalty in the box against the then defending state champions, Vandegrift, Ty sent home a penalty kick for the second goal of the game for Summer Creek who went on to beat the defending champs 3-0. The Bulldogs lost to College Park in the state championship game but with Ty’s help the Bulldogs program was able to make program history.
