South Korean-based The Pinkfong Company and SeaWorld are teaming up to celebrate the 10th anniversary of kids sensation Baby Shark with live appearances.
Baby Shark is growing up and celebrating its 10th birthday at SeaWorld San Antonio this year. The viral kids’ character is swimming its way to the Alamo City on September 11 for a limited-time celebration.
Baby Shark and friends, including Pinkfong the fox, will make a live appearance at SeaWorld in the fall with meet and greets and getaways, as well as themed activities, merch and food. SeaWorld has teamed up with The Pinkfong Company, the creator of Baby Shark, to ring in the viral song-turned-TV-show’s 10th anniversary. Baby Shark and Pinkfong are dropping a new animated music video on April 30, featuring a visit to SeaWorld as veterinarians. The duo meet baby turtles saved by the SeaWorld Rescue Team and help them return to the ocean, before taking a ride on their favorite SeaWorld attractions. The music video will be available in Spanish and English on YouTube. “We are excited to team up with The Pinkfong Company to bring the fun of Baby Shark to life in our parks, pairing education with entertainment in engaging and fun ways,” said Marc Swanson, CEO of SeaWorld parent company United Parks & Entertainment. “This collaboration allows us to connect with families in a new, unique, and memorable way while also reinforcing our mission of marine life conservation.” Baby Shark started as a viral song in 2016 and became popular for its repetitive chorus that teaches kids about marine life. The sensation later became a three-season animated show on YouTube known as “Baby Shark’s Big Show!”
