The French language movie is directed by Léa Mysius and is based on the gothic novel of the same name. The official synopsis reads: 'Thomas, Nora, and their daughter Ida, live on a remote marshland, with limited social contact apart from their one neighbour. As they plan a surprise birthday party for Nora, strange disturbances begin to occur'.
