) - Cars, boats, electronics, tools, industrial equipment, and more will be up for grabs starting Saturday in the online state surplus property auction. The Surplus Property Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs will hold the auction from 8 a.m. Saturday, May 16, until the last bidding closes on Sunday, May 24.
ADECA acquires property no longer needed by state and federal agencies, as well as items abandoned at several airports in the Southeast. Public viewing and inspections of the auction inventory will be available at the SPD’s Distribution Center in Montgomery at 4590 Mobile Highway from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, to Friday, May 22.
