PARIS - South Korea President Yoon Suk-yeol on Tuesday met his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron to discuss ways to bolster bilateral cooperation on future industries and regional security.
Mr Yoon was in France to speak at the general assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions , the 179-member inter-governmental organisation that decides which city will host the 2030 World Expo. “World peace is threatened by the war in Ukraine,” Mr Yoon said. “President Macron has been at the forefront of supporting Ukraine more than any other European leader.”
The leaders also pledged to address concerns regarding North Korea, expressing their commitment to taking responsive measures.
