Condolences are pouring in from the world, after Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi was killed in a helicopter crash, together with foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian. Chinese President Xi Jinping has paid tribute and vowed to maintain close ties with Tehran.

In his condolence message, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi looked back at Mr Raisi's contribution to strengthening relations between both countries. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin described Mr Raisi as a "true friend". Stuart Smith reports from Baghdad.
