COLOMBO : The World Bank's International Finance Corporation investment arm will provide Sri Lanka a $400 million cross-currency swap facility to help fund essential imports, the financial institution said in a statement on Monday.

Three private banks will receive the facility to fund about 30 per cent of imports, including medicine, food and fertiliser, the IFC said.
