A woman ordered home-delivered confinement meals from a company called Yu Mummy and complained of getting diarrhoea since the first meal.

Yu Mummy's food was supplied by a company called Sakura Buffet, which had its licence to provide catering services cancelled by the Singapore Food Agency with effect from May 10 May due to food safety concerns.She said she had paid $1,814 for 28 days, including lunch and dinner, starting in March.

She reported the issues to SFA and was informed on May 10 that Sakura Buffet's licence was cancelled. Upon investigation, SFA found that the food of these businesses were all supplied by Sakura Buffet. The agency also found seven other web-based businesses linked to Sakura Buffet.SFA conducted inspections at the licensed premises of Sakura Buffet at Geylang Bahru from March to May and uncovered several food safety lapses. These include failure to keep its premises clean and false labelling the time-stamping of packed food.
