11 Aug – William Chan recently admitted that he is excited about his new drama,"Novoland: Pearl Eclipse" with Yang Mi, as it would be his first time playing her love interest.
As reported on Sina, the Hong Kong actor who attended the press conference held by Tencent to announce the new project, stated that while it would be his third time working with the actress, it was the first series that the two of them will work together as a couple. "I cherish this opportunity because I was not the male lead in the previous two projects. I felt like I have succeeded now, to be able to do a drama with Yang Mi and play the male lead," he said.
On the other hand, his co-star Yang Mi stated that the two of them are very familiar with each other and have known one another for many years. "We really understand each other. Sometimes all it needs is a look and we will get what both of us were thinking," she said.
