The MUJI Rewards Programme will soon be replaced with a new programme titled MUJI passport.

Originally founded in Japan in 1980, MUJI offers a wide variety of good quality products including apparel, household goods and food. Their design philosophy is many a designer's dream: minimalist, fuss free, with an emphasis on recycling, reducing production and packaging waste, and a no-logo or "no-brand" policy. Walking into a MUJI store is almost like stepping into a spa, complete with scented mist and soft music.

Recently, MUJI announced that the MUJI Rewards Programme will soon be replaced with a new programme titled MUJI passport. In case you missed the announcement, here's what you need to know about the replacement of the rewards programme. As far as we know now, the MUJI passport is a free mobile app that allows one to collect "miles", use shopping coupons, and access information about MUJI anytime and anywhere. Existing users of the MUJI Rewards Programme will not be automatically enrolled.
