Covid-19: S’pore will take 3-6 months to reach ‘new normal’ with trying few months ahead, says PM Lee

SINGAPORE — It will take Singapore at least three to six months to reach a “new normal” where people can resume doing the things they used to do and see crowds again without feeling worried or strange, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on Saturday (Oct 9).

So what happened to all schools are good school... He is twice the man you'll ever be I thought all schools are good schools? Gosh there's a lousy school? One by one they are loosing it. A reflection of their boss attitude. Is this how they look at citizens like us? He should apologise to all who studied in lousy schools meaning all schools except ACS

學者:嚴格來說,雙方的重點是對的。但,要應時間與環境的考量。 He is the one who got caught. But how many of his colleagues share similar elitist attitude? How many more douche bags in parliament? Tell me what you eat and I'll tell you what you are. He owes the country an apology, as he offended all of us, not just one person. Not just a simple sorry but a contrite explanation for his behaviour and elitism.

Love thy neighbours as you love your parents.

Hargh ptooi! Should've made a public apology and not hide behind social media like a wuss. So well educated n yet pass such remarks....wat has sin politic come down too....to the gutter. Shameful to hold such position n yet stood so low..... y attack the person for his view on ceca.....just his views n plse dont turn this into a racial slurr.

No more live Parliament broadcast with immediate effect. Need to hide these shameful acts and 'protect' the cabinet ministers. Singapore are bad judge of characters. They keep voting for them. PAP is worse, lousy recruitment. How come we have all these kind of ministers leading us. Unacceptable. Other countries would not tolerate having these kind of ministers.

That's actually hilarious How could you say 'private comments' when it was uttered in Parliament House and audible to all & now to all domestically & internationally since é video clip has gone viral. Honestly I don't understand or perhaps your office encourages & condones such rude & discrimative comment

Caught redhanded. Bad leader. Should apologise on National TV. Shameful Presumably 'live' parliamentary sessions might have some adjustments in the not too distant future. 'How did he get into RI(aka Raffles Institution), must be a lousy school is what the statements he made. Because why apologise to Rafflesians since they are a top school anyway.

Ooh now I know go RI come out be illiterates His comments has now gone viral and thousands of not millions has heard it. It is only appropriate that é Leader of the Government PM Lee Hsien Loong apologies to é House & censures FM Vivian Balakrishnan to uphold the integrity & esteem of the House. The whole world is watching

Still. Unacceptable. Unforgivable. Unbelievable. I mean Vivian isn't wrong ... But he seem to have the habit of saying things at the wrong time .. almost could have been PM .. almost .. just timing Vivian needs to work on Think he is brave tomown up and apologise 1st we hv PAPSingapore infamous XIA SUAY calling us idiots. Now vivi said Mr Leong illiterate. Who's the next arrogant pug to belittle others?

He's not wrong tho.. what is the 10 hour long debate for ? there is no opposition to block the any motion ... just practising ? wow… thought only normal workers like us will do that to a colleague we dislike 😬 Private comments are a reflection of private thoughts. Private thoughts are a true reflection of the man/woman.

Aiyo RI.. How can a FM say such a remark? It reflects very badly on him and the country.

CECA debate: Hot mic catches 'illiterate', 'lousy school' remarksAt the 9:47:56 mark of the marathon session, shortly after Tan See Leng spoke in response to Leong Mun Wai's motion, someone can be heard saying, 'He is illiterate.' Singapore The Govt had always mentioned that every school is a good school. And yet this comes out. It just shows that they say one thing and do another thing. How can we trust what they say.

Not the first time he had to say sorry EVERY SCHOOL IS A GOOD SCHOOL BUT THE VIVIAN DOESN'T THINK SO. He's not wrong. PSP should vet their candidates. Elitist* comments. This is very shocking. Lost total respect for this guy

Foreign talent debate: Shanmugam grills NCMP Leong Mun Wai on ‘racist’ stance, knowledge of FTAs, ‘right’ number of foreign PMETsK Shan grilled Mr Leong like a well done piece of steak Instead of clarifying and informing government policies, the opposition could do more on the issue of bringing the presiding government to task. Shan can be ‘grilled’ too. Grilled? All it did was playing the race card n talking as if to a small child. NCMP Leong ask a simple question. No racism no vehemently against. He just wanted some clarity n not pinpointing a particular race. Typical PAPSingapore shanmugam play squash ding dong ding dong.
