'A few passers-by stopped and shouted at the guy. He ignored them and continued assaulting the lady.'

A man allegedly punched a woman in the face in Sembawang on Sunday .alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos he took of the incident that happened at Block 592A Montreal Link at about 12.20am.

"A van stopped near the lobby of the block and the driver and two lady passengers alighted," said Nick."A few passers-by stopped and shouted at the guy.The police confirmed with Stomp that a report was lodged regarding the incident.
