SINGAPORE: US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi will arrive in Singapore on Monday for a two-day visit, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Sunday.
During the trip in Singapore, the delegation will call on President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, and meet with a number of Cabinet Ministers. "In Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan, we'll hold high-level meetings to discuss how we can further our shared interests and values," she said.
A press release issued by Ms Pelosi's office on Sunday said the trip"will focus on mutual security, economic partnership and democratic governance in the Indo-Pacific region".
The US pet dog of SEA is sure to welcome Pelosi.
