JUST IN: UK parliament will vote on Theresa May’s Brexit deal on March 12

LONDON - British lawmakers will vote on whether to approve Prime Minister Theresa May’s revised Brexit deal on Tuesday , the leader of the House of Commons Andrea Leadsom said on Thursday .

Finance minister Philip Hammond said earlier on Thursday that Britain will probably have to delay its departure from the European Union if lawmakers reject the government's proposed divorce deal in next week's vote. Hammond warned eurosceptic colleagues if they fail to back the government’s deal they face the risk of a closer economic relationship with the EU.
