The fight occurred last Friday , and the police received a video from an eyewitness capturing the scuffle. With the assistance of the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority , the identities of the two men, aged 32 and 47, were established. They were both detained while entering Singapore on Wednesday .

The police have stated that they have zero tolerance towards acts of violence that disturb the public peace. Both men are currently being investigated for the offence of affray under Section 267B of the Penal Code 1871.
