WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump said on Monday that China could have stopped the coronavirus before it swept the globe and said his administration was conducting"serious investigations" into what happened.
The US president said he may seek damages from China. Trump was asked about a recent German newspaper editorial which called on China to pay Germany US$165 billion in reparations because of economic damage done by the virus.Asked if the US would consider doing the same, the US president said"we can do something much easier than that".
China's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Twitter on Monday Pompeo should"stop playing the political game. Better save energy on saving lives". Navarro, an outspoken critic of Beijing whom Trump has appointed to work on supply-line issues relating to the health crisis, said more testing both for the virus and antibodies was vital to getting Americans currently in lockdown back to work.SCHOOLS REOPENING, ELECTION GOING AHEAD

They better advice the president more on the virus instead of later he advise wrongly to its citizens, such as drinking corox or sanitizer can cure the virus... Which is nuts

Trump may have done one thing right which stopped Chinese travelers and kept claiming credit. But he did not admit the real cause of the outbreak, which was the way they managed well the evacuation of Americans who carry the virus back to US that caused the outbreak locally
Arrogant, supremacy mindset and the leadership quality of US that think they have the most advanced and well established medical care are the cause of US situation. US was provided with gen sequence months back but did not prepare test and get quarantine procedures ready.
