WASHINGTON - US President Donald Trump acknowledged on Tuesday that a coronavirus economic relief deal would likely come after the Nov 3 election, with the White House unable to bridge differences with fellow Republicans in the US Senate as well as congressional Democrats.

"We'll always talk about it because our people should get it, the stimulus, but Nancy Pelosi is only interested in bailing out badly run, crime-ridden Democrat cities and states," Trump said. "In all of our legislation, we have stressed the importance of testing, but the administration has never followed through," Pelosi wrote in a letter to lawmakers on Monday.
